TIQ Adds Automated Time Tracking For Customers. Running Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and OneDrive
TIQ today announces the availability of its ‘plug and play’ connection within Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OneDrive. After graduating from the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator program, the company’s award-winning enterprise software for automated time tracking is now available in the Office Store. It’s now possible for TIQ’s customers using Office 365 to automatically capture and allocate the time they spend in Office 365 to specific clients, projects, and tasks.
TIQ enhances the experience of its professional service industry customers using Office 365 by enabling them to automatically capture time spent working on email, documents, and in meetings. Through its learning behavior and integrations with a firm’s back-office, TIQ is able to match captured activities with specific clients, projects, or tasks. The application then creates an organized overview of time spent. The user only has to verify the time through a web or mobile application. TIQ reduces time-tracking efforts to less than a minute each day and drastically improves the accuracy of time logs.
Nick Schils, founder and CEO of TIQ: “It’s amazing to strengthen our offerings and services for our customers who use Microsoft Office 365. With TIQ, we are eliminating the pain of filling out time sheets in the professional services industry, and connecting to Outlook, Word, Excel and OneDrive helps us achieve this on a bigger scale.”
Recent research by TIQ in collaboration with London Business School showed that professional services firms lose an average of at least €40.000 per employee per year to poor time tracking. This loss consists of revenue missed due to unrecorded client work and large amounts of time spent tracking time. TIQ aims to recover most of this revenue for its clients by improving time-tracking accuracy and speed. TIQ can easily make sure that all client work done in Outlook, Word, Excel and OneDrive will be captured, thus significantly reducing unbilled client work.
Warwick Hill, CEO in Residence, Microsoft Accelerator: “We are excited to have TIQ on board. We believe they can create an innovative new time management solution for Office customers.”
TIQ provides insights on how people actually spend their time. TIQ’s mission is to create a new industry standard for time management. The tools that you use to get your work done contain data that can tell you something about how people spend their time. By analysing this data, TIQ helps you to create an accurate overview of activities that can be validated in less than a minute per day. The result is faster and more accurate insight into activities on a per project, client or task basis.
