TIQ selected for Microsoft Ventures Accelerator
The TIQ team is very proud to announce that it has been selected for the fourth cohort of the Microsoft Ventures accelerator program in London. Out of the 320 applications, TIQ is one of the 8 startups selected. The cohort started the 5th of October and the program will end in January. One day prior to the start of the program, TIQ HQ moved from Amsterdam to London.
The Microsoft Ventures Accelerator Program was founded three years ago and has been established in seven different locations worldwide: Seattle, Beijing, Bangalore, London, Berlin, Paris and Tel Aviv. With a total of $1.2 billion in funds raised, more than 700 founders in the global Alumni community, 26 startups acquired and one gone public through an IPO, Microsoft Ventures is one of the leading and most prestigious accelerator programs in the world. Success stories in London are companies like FOVE and SAM Labs.
The accelerator program consists of individual mentoring and workshops by Microsoft’s experts and partners. Furthermore, Microsoft will provide TIQ with £500,000 (approximately €675.000) worth of infrastructure resources over the next three years and open up its network to TIQ to build partnerships in.
Nick Schils, founder of TIQ, comments:
“It’s such an awesome step for our team and company. We’ve gained momentum. Microsoft picked up on this and will help us to accelerate even faster. We believe traditional time tracking solutions have their flaws. To work together with Microsoft on a new innovative industry standard is an amazing experience with great long-term benefits for everyone involved.”
“We are excited to have TIQ on board. We believe they can create a new industry standard for managing time and are happy to support them.”
